131. SUBJECTS “Half Alive Rehearsal” CS

Existence is an absurd performance: we uphold the very things that destroy us, goaded by the illusion of control as we quietly exit the stage. Life’s biggest lie is that there is an ending to any of this. Rather, as unreality closes in, we are walled out into nothingness, buried beneath an abomination we not only allowed, but invited. 

For those who aren’t content to sleepwalk through their days, SUBJECTS offers a sobering reminder that we barely exist. On Half Alive Rehearsal, the band delivers 7 tracks of pounding U.S. hardcore in anticipation of their spring East Coast tour, featuring new material, songs from the self-titled debut cassette, and a cover of “Vengeance” by The Fix.

Recorded live in-studio by the band, and once again featuring artwork by Matthew Bellosi, Half Alive Rehearsal is available in a tour-only edition of 100 copies.
