After a complete circumnavigation on the futility of existence, The Repos have proudly hit the eject button once and for all with this collection of prophetic eulogies. Those already versed can expect an even harsher basement production coupled with a noticeably lower regard for showmanship. Throw this on and feel their literal hanging-on-for-their-dear-lives energy, something that few other bands were ever able to capture. Those fortunate enough to have witnessed The Repos' final performances will testify that they were an unforgettable moment in time. To commemorate their passing, we present this tribute to their end, showcased in beautiful floating-white-blob colored vinyl with a stylish 32 page 5.5" x 8.5" photo 'zine, hand assembled covers, housed in resealable poly bags in an edition of 300 copies. Since the purpose of this release was intended for the attendants of their final shows, a very limited amount remain and will be personally offered only through mailorder. Lastly, YA#40 will be the long awaited 14 song lp by FAILURES. this will be a split release between the noble Clean Plate operative in scenic North Hampton, Ma. This project has been long in development and kept tightly under wraps. An initial pressing of 600 copies has been determined. More information in due time.

In Motion is a new EP from Florida's CULT RITUAL. Those unfamiliar with their monstrous sound can expect a swirling, crashing wreck that fuses "Power of Expression"-era B'LAST, with Bubba Dupree wankery, and the drawn out and grueling agony of SWANS. Already artistically in league of their own, expect beautiful hand-assembled die-cut tri-panel covers in an edition limited to 300.

first off, the label was featured in the issue #9 of ANP Quarterly, a quality publication based out of Los Angeles and FREE if you can find it. for anyone interested in various perspectives concerning the labels goals and incentives beyond the obvious, this spills its guts.

several spellbinding releases are slated this year. to clear up any frustration about the long stalled MK-ULTRA discography 2 xLP, it WILL happen, however other projects are scheduled to surface beforehand before taking on such a monstrous endeavor. Next up will be a 100 copy repress of the SALVATION ep. For anyone who came up empty the first time around, here is your last chance to witness their destructive magic, this time with added insert and new colored vinyl. More exciting is the news that SALVATION is planning to release a 12" this year for YouthAttack. reports filtering in so far claim the bands decision to take the new material in a more noise-driven direction to better suit their needs for expression. Meanwhile, Western Massachusetts' finest, AEROSOLS, will finally unveil their five song 3rd ep before settling down to focus on their long awaited full length this year. Expect more top notch hardcore in a level of intensity that few can match. This is undoubtedly their finest hour, and once again limited to 200. finally, the Big News: THE REPOS have decided to call it quits at last. To commemorate this unprecedented historical event, these legends will perform two final shows--March 28 in Chicago and March 29 in Madison and will release their final recorded opus, a 13-song LP strictly limited to 200 copies to coincide with these shows. after a usual debacle of poor communication with one too many cooks in the kitchen, DAS OATH has settled on plans for an October tour of the East Coast, followed by a stop over in Iceland, before commencing a final tour of Europe. To commemorate this swan song, Das Oath will be issuing a 7 song 11" as a split release with Coalition and Youth Attack. This official release will be limited to 1000. Plans are being formulated now for a limited tour press as expected. A CD version of this will be released on Threeoneg.

Italy's amazing LA PIOVRA will be doing a one sided 12" on Youth Attack following the release of the much-anticipated REPOS "Hearts and Heads Explode" LP. LA PIOVRA's sound can best be described as a manic hybrid of early-LOS CRUDOS and JELLY ROLL ROCKHEADS, with an unquestionable 70's Eurocrime/ 19th Century Nautical seafaring influence. Following these tedious summer months, the astonishing new DAS OATH 12" will be ejected in a self released limited gatefold job with all the usual tastefullness you've come to love. Thanks to our own increasingly devious attempts to thwart any lingering fans, this record will hopefully cost a fortune. Last night in an Oakland warzone, DAS OATH sparred off with LOOK BACK AND LAUGH for a total band-off, playing simultaneously by alternating song for song to kill everyone in attendance. And who may you ask was the victor? Luckily, said persons were able to escape early enough to get caught in a torrential downpour in stripper town.

The Repos second full-length masterwork "Hearts And Heads Explode" is finished and will soon go into production. Expect the same frenzied fist-the-face as previous efforts, but only better. Seventeen songs at just over thirteen minutes to make your days worthy.

The SURF NAZIS MUST DIE covers should arrive in the middle of next week and will likely be the best EP Youth Attack will release in this lifetime.

If Senator John Kerry is the winner, there will be NO REPRESS and the comp will sink quietly into obscurity.
