DEATH TRIP

THE ROPES “Demo II” EP will go on sale tomorrow April 21st exclusively at Reckless Records in Chicago for Record Store Day. This release features remastered sound by Will Killingsworth, a 12 panel double-sided fold-out poster, double-sided cover sheet and obi card, with black vinyl and black dust sleeves in a pressing of 300 copies. These will be available in store starting at 10 a.m. central time. For more info check out: www.reckless.com

Advance copies of THE ROPES “Always Nothing” CS all sold at their recent show in Chicago, but more will be available for mailorder shortly. Stay tuned.

CURTAIN CALL

Due to ongoing production delays, the next YA update is pushed back momentarily. Stay tuned—it’s happening soon.

RAW NERVE will be playing two final performances on April 13 & 14 in Chicago. April 13th will be held at Subterranean, 2011 W. North Ave. w/The Ropes, Ceremony, & Divine Right. April 14th will be held at The Mousetrap, 2201 W. Huron w/Vile Gash, Manipulation, & Cülo. Don’t miss these historic events! To mark their passing, RAW NERVE will unveil their final release—a three song EP that will be available firsthand at the shows. More info to come.

THE ROPES will be issuing both a Demo III cassette to be sold only at the show on April 13th, and a remastered vinyl pressing of Demo II available on April 20th for Record Store Day. This EP will be available exclusively at Reckless Records in Chicago. Their “Lost Still Losing” LP has been recorded and is currently being mixed.

The Music section has been updated, Civilized tracks to be posted shortly.

SALVATION will be hitting the west coast next week and will have a limited tour edition of their “House of the Beating Hell” EP available for sale. This edition features hand-assembled covers and inserts with an inverted color scheme of the standard edition and will be available only at the shows.

Also coming in the next YA update will be a hand-assembled cassette box set version of SALVATION’s “Mortality Interactions” LP containing a chrome cassette version of the LP, inserts of all the artwork, two 1.5″ pins, and a DVD compilation of live footage shot by Herb Adis and edited by Chris O’Coin.

Lastly, together starting next week HOAX and SQRM are storming the east coast and Canada. HOAX will have the standard black vinyl edition of their new EP as well as a new tour shirt design for sale at shows. Support!
